RESPONSE OF THE NET PRIMARY PRODUCTION TO CLIMATE CHANGE FOR THE EUROPEAN RUSSIA
Golubyatnikov, L.L. and E.A. Denisenko , 2001.
Summary Modem approaches to the analysis of the net primary production (NPP) response to climate change are considered. Changes in the zonal vegetation NPP as à function of the radiation balance and annual evapotranspiration are adjusted for the European Russia. The relationships between the radiation balance and the annual sum of effective temperatures are analyzed for this territory. À method is proposed to forecast the NPP response on possible climatic changes. Using the climate changes scenarios for the new climate equilibrium due to carbon dioxide doubling in the atmosphere from three general circulation models, the model estimation for the NPP of the European Russia are obtained. The model results for changes in this characteristics of the vegetation cover are presented in the form of the map-schemes. Download (PDF, in Russian) |
