Summary

To estimate the net primary production response to possible climate changes, we used the output of the atmosphere-ocean general circulation climate model CCC (Canadian Climate Center), GFHI (Geophysical Fluids Dynamics Laboratory, Princeton, USA), UKHI (UK Meteorological Office). The model results for NPP changes point to possible dynamics tendenses of this vegetation characteristic for new climate equilibrium due to carbon dioxide doubling in the atmosphere.
