THE IDENTIFICATION OF ECOLOGICAL SEQUENCES MODEL

Summary An approach to ecological progressions modelling is proposed which is based on the notion of ecological niche and the principle of plant canopy continuum. The model is presented in the form of specified ribbon matrix. Algorithm of the model identification is based on the optimality criterum proposed by Aleksandrov and Golubyatnikov (1990). Problem of the model identification is formalized and reduced tî prescriptions problem being resolved by the standard Hungarian method. Suggested identification algorithm can be considered as à method of the species ordination along one of the environmental factors, as well. This method is easely realized, informative, and provides interpretable results. Download (PDF, in Russian) |
